Pre-construction Consultation
Initial consultation
- We’ll meet at your home for a 45-90 minute discussion to understand the scope of your project, your goals, and any concerns you may have. This allows us to efficiently gather essential information and share relevant project examples.
Budget and Guidance
- Following our initial meeting, we’ll provide an Opinion of Probable Cost (OPC) based on similar projects. We’ll also introduce you to financing options to help you make informed decisions about your budget and project feasibility.
Design Agreement
- Once we’ve established a clear understanding of your project goals and budget, we’ll execute a Design Agreement. This document outlines the scope of work, design budget, and details of the Design Retainer Fee, setting the stage for the next phase of the project.

Architecture and Selections:
- Complete questionnaire prior to selecting products
- 6–14 weeks Design Development period, meeting every 10 days
- Budget and aesthetics guidance provided at every step
- Concurrently, our Design Coordinator assists with design selections, ensuring critical factors are considered for efficient and effective solutions.
Trade Walkthrough and Meet the Team:
- Approximately two-thirds into the Design Development period, we conduct a Trade Walkthrough with our production staff and trades.
- During this visit, we discuss mechanicals and ensure constructibility to avoid surprises.
- This step is critical for avoiding unexpected issues and ensuring a smooth project execution.

Authorization and Permitting
Authorization to proceed
- Review architectural plans, ensuring alignment with project vision and requirements.
- Storyboard selections for materials, fixtures, and finishes to match your aesthetic preferences.
- Review detailed scope of work (Construction Contract) to clarify project deliverables and expectations.
- Review schedule with start and completion dates for project timeline clarity.
- Thorough review of corresponding pricing to ensure transparency and alignment with budget expectations.
- Upon your authorization to proceed, a deposit payment is due to initiate the next phase.
Pre-Construction Planning:
- Apply for permits once plans are finalized to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Design confirmation meeting to finalize design selections and facilitate timely procurement of long lead items.
- Consolidation meeting to transition from design to production, ensuring resource allocation and scheduling alignment.
- Pre-Construction Meeting at your home to discuss construction schedule, temporary setup logistics, and special accommodations for household members.

Throughout construction, our dedicated Lead Carpenter or Project Manager is onsite daily to address any inquiries or concerns promptly. We believe communication is key, which is why we provide regular progress reports and encourage open dialogue. At the end of each workday, your space is left clean and organized, with thorough sweeping and vacuuming conducted weekly. With our transparent payment system, you can rest assured that weekly stage payments are aligned with project milestones, allowing you to track progress effortlessly.

Final Steps and Warranty Assurance
- At Substantial Completion, a meeting is scheduled to ensure your satisfaction before project completion.
- Any remaining Punch List items are identified and swiftly addressed to achieve a seamless finish.
- Your final payments are made for completion and punch list completion, ensuring project satisfaction.
- A comprehensive three year warranty is provided on all work, supported by warranty cards, a Product Care Guide, and a Warranty Letter delivered upon completion.
- We prioritize ongoing satisfaction, conducting follow-up calls at 6, 12, 18, and 24 months after Substantial Completion to address any concerns and schedule any required rework within 30 days.
- With our unwavering commitment to Communication, Quality, and Cleanliness, over 75% of our projects stem from repeat business and referrals, some clients entrusting us with their 4th or even 5th project.
